Theresa Russell Obituary
Theresa Russell,91 died on March 2, 2022. Terry was born in New Britain, CT in 1930 and moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1991 to live with her daughter and family. She worked in retail for much of her life where she enjoyed meeting new people. She loved to sew and enjoyed making quilts for children being placed into foster care or in the hospital. She worked with a group of friends sewing quilts for Project Linus. She was preceded in death by her sisters Helen and Stella and her brother Edward; children Karen Pelegrino and Kevin Russell. She is survived by her daughter Kathleen Atencio (Jake), son-in-law Dennis Pelegrino; grandchildren Amanda, Shaela, Nicole, Laura and Tomas; great-grandchild Georgiana. A memorial service will be held on Friday 3/11/22 at 11:00am at Shepherd of the Valley Church, 1801 Montano NW. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers a donation to Project Linus via Shepherd of the Valley Church would be a lovely gesture.
