Well known and respected New Zealand artist. Dearly loved mother of Andre, Michelle, Cheryl & Leon. Dearly loved by her twelve grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Val passed away unexpectedly in her 90th year. Val's never-ending wish:
"May future generations protect New Zealand's unique heritage of environmental, historical and cultural identity".
Val will be greatly missed by her family, friends and colleagues. No flowers please. Instead, donations to the Friends of the Taupo Museum & Art Gallery, c/- Taupo Museum & Art Gallery would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A celebration of Val's life will be held at 2.00pm on Friday 26th February 2021, at The Founders Chapel of Remembrance, 117 Rickit Street, Taupo. Correspondence to Val's family, c/- P.O.
