7 August 2016, in Upper Hutt. Dearly loved husband of Beverley, loved father of Randal and Kay, Lise and Marko and Jordan. Cherished "Gdad" of Francesca (Chessie), Nina and Graeme, Sasha and Taryn, Zara and Sam, Bianca and Zak. Great-grandfather of Aaliyah, Pippa and Miha.
"He was a great man who achieved extraordinary things during his life. He was a man of principle and dignity who had a passion for life and ideas and who was known and loved by many".
