I was so sorry to hear the news, Mel. Garth was taken much more quickly than you expected. It must have been a shock.
I never met Garth but feel I knew him a little, through you.
When my Dad died, the words that comforted me were "To live in the hearts of those we love, is not to die". I know Garth lives on in the legacy of those who love him and those he has spent his life serving.

Sending love to you and the family.

Garth knocked on our front door in Amberley Avenue, Palmerston North. Garth and Mel became friends, leaders in every way and beautiful neighbours. He reintroduced our family to God and led us in our walk with God at Palmerston North Salvation Army. A man of God and grace always.

Garth........thank you for all that you spoke into our lives - your wisdom, your pastoral heart, your leadership by example through word and deed. You blessed way more than words could ever say - "I can only imagine.........." Mark and Avis Owen

A gentleman and a gentle man. The world is poorer because of his passing, but is richly blessed by his legacy.
