We were sad to learn of Anton's passing. We, the class of '71 would have loved to have seen him at our class reunion in March 2021. Our hearts go out to his loved ones.

We were very sad to read of Dr. Anton's passing. He was such a wonderful doctor to our family and always went the extra mile to sort things for us. A very caring person with a great sense of humour. Our thoughts are with his family.

Yes - appointments always began with a quick look at his South African rugby memorabilia of which he was justifiably proud. I liked Anton's humour too inside our outside his clinic.
Sincere sympathy Liss and to those nurses and staff who worked with him.

We were devastated to learn of Dr Anton's passing. An amazing Doctor who took the time and trouble to really understand his patients' needs. Although we only saw him at the surgery in his professional capacity, we were privileged to see glimpses of the man behind the professional façade with his humour, empathy, personal battles, and, of course, love of rugby! The Levin Community as a whole has suffered an enormous loss and especially Liss and his family. He will be deeply missed and always remembered with respect and affection. May he now Rest In Peace.

Anton was a true friend and doctor. I will miss our banter on rugby. He always said his best achievement in life was his children. His love for his grandchildren knew no bounds either.
He was a fighter to the end. I will miss you.
Rest in peace dear friend

Liss and family,
Dr Anton was truly the kindest Doctor I had ever had the luck to have as my Doctor.
I had been trying to get in touch, and I was worried his sudden leave was due to sickness and I only wish I had got in touch sooner.
He will be greatly missed. As much as I disliked seeing a Doctor usually, with Anton I looked forward to our appointments as he truly understood his patients and did his absolute best for them.
I wish words could make this time easier for you but I know they cannot, so please take care.
