.I knew Janine so well when we both had littlies' at the same time...neither of us had our mums nearby to help us and we felt we had a lot in common .her Mum visited us at our home in Wilton she was so lovely. Janine played inter club tennis at Wadestown and my father in law from Mexico City was introduced to some of my mates on the tennis court- he was a Davis cup tennis player in the day- he was delighted to meet Janine that day and said she was the most beautiful woman he had ever played tennis with.Such sadness we will miss her lovely presence in this world. All our love and thoughts to her family.

I got to know Janine because her daughter CHarlotte was best friends with my daughter Sylvia at Wellington Girls. Both Janine and Charlotte were lots of fun to be with. When Sylvia and Charlotte were 17 they decided to go on a world tour together. This led to many discussions between Janine and me. In the end we convinced ourselves that they would be ok as long as they stayed in touch with us. When they had arrived at their first stop, Florence, and we didn't hear for them for 3 days, we were quite concerned. I was reassured by Janine's calmness and common sense, even though she was probably as nervous as I was. I was delighted to spend time with Janine a short time before she died. Her thoughts were all with her children and her grandchildren, whom she adored. Her great regret was that she would not see them growing up. It is heartbreaking to say goodbye to such a brave, beautiful, caring and fun-loving woman.

I remember a lovely woman who always looked a million dollars, always smiled and spoke either at Te Kura or in the city. She gave her time and attention to you and I wish I had known her better.
Please accept my sincere condolences for a beautiful person taken too soon.
Kind regards
Andrea Taylor
