Daniel Russell Obituary
Daniel Lloyd Bolden Russell died in his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico on September 1, 2014. Daniel was born on November 23, 1990 in Los Alamos, New Mexico to Jimmie and Teresa Russell. He was the youngest of nine children. Daniel graduated from La Cueva High School in Albuquerque in 2009 and was an active member of the school?s show choir. He loved to make people laugh. He was also a gifted artist, singer and performer. Daniel was blessed with a good, kind heart and a forgiving soul. He loved his family and would do anything for them. He is survived by his parents, his life partner Cisco Padilla, his sisters Tina Russell, Anna Russell, Mia (Joe) Daviner, Le?a (Adam) Eaton, Jennifer (Aaron) Parkin and Sarah (Neil) Smith as well as his brothers Jimmie (Melissa) Russell and Nathaniel (Matt) Russell. He was also survived by seven nieces and ten nephews. Funeral services will be held on September 6 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 11750 San Victorio Avenue NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87111. Am sad to hear of Daniels passing. I remember him as a little boy at Chamisa, he was a sweet friend to my daughter. Was in 2nd grade (I think) when he got on stage and sang "Over the Rainbow" for the talent show. He started out in barely a whisper and ended with crescendo! Prayers of comfort and that you be wrapped in in the warmth of His glory and Daniels beautiful spirit.
