Very sad to hear of Bill's passing. I have fond memories of Bill from my time in the Department of Education and Systems Technology IT division in the Ministry of Education in the early 90s in the old wooden Government Building and the Pipitea Street building. Always down to earth and good value especially over a beer at the Thorndon Tavern with his colleagues on a Friday evening. My thoughts and sympathies are with his immediate and extended family and friends. Vale and RIP Bill

Very Sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was an inspiration. As a child sitting on the mat at Tokoroa Central School listening to the then School Traffic officer I was in awe. He was a hero.
A decade later I met Peter and Paul and I am certain he was a proud dad! From Western Height to the Tokoroa High School the boys took it all in their stride, more than once they were asked: isn't your dad the...
They were a credit to Wiremu and their lovely mum. With Peter especially many good times were had; School, Teachers College, Life.
Small world, big imprint, a life well lived and the baton passed.
Rest In Peace.
