William Frank (Bill):
"Gone Fishing" on October 13, 2021, aged 89 years. Loving husband of the late Marian (nee Hurndell). Loved father and father-in-law of Bob and Jenny, and Donna and Steve. Loving Grandfather of Brett and Ashley, Michelle and Rian, Jason (dec); Daniel and Danielle, and Bradley and Melanie. Great-Grandfather of Bailey, Jade, Rory; Amy, Poppy, Ayce, and Mya. To his many friends and helpers who have all been very loving and supportive (too many to name) - thank you from all the family. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Bill's life in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Wanganui, on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 2.00pm, to be followed by a private cremation. Due to the current covid restrictions please note that a maximum number of 100 people will be able to attend. An invitation is extended to view Bill's Service online at

To Donna, Bob and family,
Our sincere condolences, wishing you fond memories of Bill to sustain you in the years ahead.
My cousin Lesley and I were Flower Girls' at Bill and Marian's wedding, an enjoyable, happy occasion with all kitted out' in their finest. I remember it as a grand family celebration.
And..years later in 1968 Bill was chauffeur at our own wedding. Although arriving at the church on time Bill decided, fully supported by my Dad Ernie, to drive around the block several times to keep Richard waiting - oh what pleasure he had from making mischief!!
