William STARR Obituary
Service No. 15753 RNZN Korean Veteran. Of Levin. Passed away peacefully on 22nd March 2017, aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of Ruth. Loved father and father-in-law of Carol & Don Searle, Deborah & Garry Forgeson, David & Denise Starr, Ann & Paul West, Andrew & Jess Starr.A loved grandad and great-grandad. Sincere thanks to all staff of The Levin Home For War Veterans for their care and kindness. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at The Levin Home For War Veterans, Prouse St, Levin, on Tuesday 28th March 2017 at 1.30pm. Private cremation to follow. I have many fond memories of a respected friend and colleague from the Porirua Housing Corporation days. Was wonderful to see Bill and Ruth during a "pop-in" visit in Levin a wee while back. Much love and condolences to all Bill's family.
