William Douglas (Bill):
Formerly of Oamaru, and Havelock North. Peacefully, in his sleep in his 90th year, at Lansdowne Park, Masterton, on June 10, 2023. Beloved husband of his Val for 65 years. Adored father, friend and confidante of Di and Steve, Mahria, Bob (Robyn) and Dean (Nelson), Garry and Sharon (Havelock North). Loving and cherished Poppa of Courtney and Geoff, Scott and Emma, Claudia, and Liam. Besotted great-Poppa of Carter, Dani, Frankie and Spencer. Loved brother and brother-in-law of John and Pam, Graeme and Lorraine, Ron and Sandra McGookin (all of Oamaru). Loved uncle of his four nieces. Life member of NZ Assn of Left Handers Golf. Messages may be sent to c/- PO Box 460, Masterton. A service to celebrate Bill's life will be held in the Wairarapa Funeral Services Chapel, 35-37 Lincoln Road, Masterton on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 1.30pm followed by private cremation.
