I am sad to hear of Bill's passing ,I was lucky enough to meet Bill in the early 70's and after working for him for a short period we started Metco Engineering to gether.
He was a special person who gave me a big break in life.
Rest in peace my old friend.

My father's pragmatic, austere upbringing laid a foundation for independence & resilience - preparing him to apply his talents & make the most of opportunities. Accomplishments followed: as a tradesman; a business man who founded Hansen Heating, Metco Engineering & Real Pies; and a teacher/tutor who helped many students. While not altruistic by nature, he showed goodwill toward others & was increasingly grateful for the benefits of a long marriage. His opinions were typically clearly expressed & sometimes even open to modification (fair comment', as he would say) via well-reasoned argument! Dad appreciated the variety his capabilities, ventures and interests brought to life.
