William GREENE Obituary

GREENE, William (Bill):
Passed away on Wednesday 4 May 2022 at Wellington Hospital, following complications from a fall at home, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Ngaire. Much loved father, father-in-law and stepfather of Julie and Dominic, Helen and Scott, Irene and Glenn, Richard, Marianne and Garry, Paul and Shirley. Dearly loved Grandpa (Gramps) to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His cheeky sense of humour will be missed by family and friends. Thank you to all of Bill's carers, Driving Miss Daisy and Kapiti Cottage for taking such good care of our Dad. A service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at The Plimmerton Boating Club, 66 Moana Road, Plimmerton, on Thursday 12 May, commencing at 11.00am, thereafter private cremation.
