Sincere condolences to Jill, Jenny, Amy, Lucy and all the family.
We fondly remember some great catch ups with Uncle Bill and Aunty Jill at their house in Johnsonville. We were always made very welcome. We particularly enjoyed chatting with Bill about a range of topics: electric cars, history, organ music, languages, alternative therapies. You name it, Bill had an opinion and that was well worth hearing. Bill had the curiosity and the courage to investigate new ideas and to act on what he learnt.
We were quite early adopters of EV technology, but no where near as early as Bill and Jill.
Lots of love

And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?

I worked with Bill from 1978 to 1985. He was an excellent trainer of translators and made a great contribution to the profession over the years. Moe mai ra.

Very sad to hear of Bill´s passing. I fondly remember working with him at The Translation Service in the 80s.
