Of Paraparaumu, formerly of Miramar. On Wednesday, 11 October 2017, suddenly at home. Aged 66 years. Loving husband and soulmate of Sandra for 45 years.

A service to celebrate Wayne's life will be held at the Kapiti Coast Funeral Home Chapel, 9–11 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu, at 2.00pm, on Friday, 20 October, to be followed by a private cremation.

We all have that special friend thats with us as we travel from being a chlid, young man and then adult. Wayne was that special friend to me. We travelled through those times together starting families of our own. We had lots of innocent fun stuff young ones today would not understand and label as boring. For us it was our right of passage. I could not of asked for a more loyal friend to travel that journey with. As time and miles saw us drift apart with each looking after our own families and careers we had recently looked foward to renewed frienship and sharing our memories. I am angry that that will now not happen but so happy to have the memories and be able to call Wayne my best friend. Celerbrate the life of this good man trustworthy and loyal
