GOLLOP, Wayne Gordon. - On Friday, 4th July 2014, peacefully at Wellington Hospital. Dearly loved father of Dean, and grandfather of Riley and Ruby. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Glenn & Kees, and Bruce & Heather, and loved uncle to his nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Wayne's life will be held at Kapiti Coast Funeral Home, 9–11 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu, at 12.30pm on Wednesday, 9th July 2014, to be followed by interment at Awa Tapu Cemetery. from Wendy Krippner (Dowd) Condolences to you Dean and your family. Wayne (Golly) was a great neighbour to us, my Dad, Bernie Dowd had wonderful times and he enjoyed their daily arguments! He also enjoyed a trip on his yacht. My mum Janice Dowd is away and unable to attend funeral, our thoughts are with you and your family.

I did lots of Diving Drinking Hunting and Telling lies
with Golly. Real great mate and lots of memories,
Always reckoned he walked like John Wayne.
I'll never forget our trip to the Barrier Island in his yacht
eh Deano. Wish I could be there to share his send off but
unable to travel due to health reasons.
