Oscar I fondly remember many things about you. From the way you looked after me at primary school at Johnsonville West, the days at Onslow College and the many years you played cricket for Johnsonville. Whether it was in the top team or the Presidents you were always about having fun. A stylish batsman and more than useful fieldsman. RIP

Oscar, you made us sing, you made us dance but most of all you made us laugh.
A wonderful friend with a big heart, we've had so many great times. Your New Year pilgrimage to Whangamata made holidays special.
Thinking of you as you chase the sun, Sue and Woody xxx.

When I sit and think of Warren I can't help but think of the fearless rugby player that played for Athletic in the blue & black hoops. You had good energy on and off the field. You were a good bloke and will be missed by the rugby fraternity. My best wishes go out to your family. Always a thought. Alan Mexted

Rest well Oscar. What a great guy, an amazing rugby player, mentor and character. I always looked up to you and will never forget the Athletic Rugby Club days and your encouragement to the younger players. Say hi to Wal.

I played rugby with Warren ( Oscar) in the Under 19s when we won the Wellington under 19 competition for the Athletic Club in 1967. Oscar was captain and very good at that as well as his rugby skills. The team had a reunion in Nov 2017 at Wairakei Resort and 13 players made it thanks to Dereck Hewitt. Unfortunately Warren was struggling with names and faces but im sure he remembered me by calling me KEG. Will be sadly missed but at least we all caught up with Warren and will hold those precious memories until it is our time to play the game they play in Heaven. Rest in peace my dear friend.
