HICKTON PATTISON,
Vivienne Mary:
On Saturday 7th October 2017 peacefully at Willard Rest Home, aged 90. Dearly loved wife of the late Alan Hickton, and Bob Pattison. Loved mother of Christine, Heather and Tim McVeagh, and Brian. Loved grandmother of Jo and Chris, Michael and Mareike, Pip, and Michael. Proud great-grandmother of Charlie. A special thanks to the staff of Willard for their loving care of our mum. Messages to the Hickton family c/- of PO Box 5191, Palmerston North 4441. A service for Viv will be held at the Terracehaven Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North on Wednesday 11th October 2017 at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation.

To the Hickton Whanau from the Mason Whanau
We are so saddened at the passing of Mrs Hickton
She was an amazing woman and as the "devils advocate" cutting hair to please the cuttee, the parent and the school was no easy task
In her role of Pavlovas to the rescue, Mrs Hickton had no equal
Shirley Newman, Viv Hickton and our Mum, Betty Mason were mates for so many years
Betty is last man standing on so many counts now
She will miss Viv deeply
The last time I saw her my hands were so cold she offered to warm them up if I climbed into bed with her - such a honey
Viv and I had a lovely friendship and I will miss her dearly
