Victor William (Vic):
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in his 90th year. Dearly loved husband of Jean for 64 years. Loved father of Stephen, Mark & Belinda, Paul & Lisa. Adored Grandad to Skye, Samantha, Joe, Lily and Jack. In lieu of flowers donations to the Wellington Free Ambulance may be left at the service or posted to PO Box 601, Wellington 6140. Communications to the Henshaw family, C/o PO Box 119, Paraparaumu 5254. A service for Vic will be held in Kapiti Coast Funeral Home, 9-11 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu, on Monday 5 March 2018 at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation.

I have good memories of Vic as the specialist draughtsman working in the Special Projects Office of Ministry of Works. He did not do the normal construction type of draughting but did special illustrations and graphics, especially for any publications that we produced. A very skilled draughtsman and artist combined. He always took part in the good humour antics of the office and he was well respected. A great work colleague. Sorry not to have caught up with him in recent years.
