Vera BOYDEN Obituary
On 31 August 2022 peacefully at Charles Fleming, Waikanae, aged 101. Loved wife of the late Ken. Cherished mother and mother-in-law to Carole and Bill. Loved nana to Sara Currie, Vanessa and Josh O'Connell and great-granny to Sienna, Levi and Mila. Special thanks to all the staff at Charles Fleming Rest Home for their care of Vera. A celebration of Vera's life will be held on at Cedarwood, 17 Parata Street, Waikanae, on Monday 12 September at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers a donation to Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated.

We had so many good times with both Ken and Vera as our neighbours in Crofton Downs over the years.

So sorry to hear of Mrs Boyden´s passing. Mr and Mrs Boyden often visited our family home in Levin. Mr Boyden was in the MOT with my father John McKimmie. Mr and Mrs Boyden would often have me to dinner at their Wellington apartment when I first moved from home to the big city. They always made me feel welcome and the conversation was always lively.
