Passed away peacefully on 13 October 2016. Dearly loved mother of Cristina & Bill, Silvana & Robbie, and Riccardo. Cherished grandmother of Damien & Laura, Karl & Mel, and Kylie & Joel. Proud Nonna of Jakob, Kalihan, Nicco, Chase, and Coen. Dearly loved sister of Carla. Special thanks to the staff of Longview Rest Home and the doctors and nursing staff of Wellington Hospital for their care.

For those wishing to pay their respects, Vania will be resting at Silvana & Robbie's place and from there to a service to celebrate her life in the Whenua Tapu Chapel, Airlie Road, Pukerua Bay on Tuesday, 18 October at 11:00am, followed by cremation.
