Valerie JOYCE Obituary
(nee Nairne):
Val passed away peacefully at Wellington Hospital on Tuesday 24 August 2021, holding the hand of her devoted, loving husband Grahame. Daughter of the late William Joseph Nairne and Eileen May Nairne (nee Clode). Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Tony and Lee, Janette, Anna-Marie and Nic, Katherine and Tony. Dearly loved Nana and Nana-in-law of Nick and Alex, Simon, Patrick and Fiona, Kane, Zac and Liam, Gabrielle and Kim, Guy and Rebekah, Daniel, Lotte, Felix and Sam. Much loved Great "Nanny Val" of Tia, Jade and Kirra, Mia, Rãtã, Lux and Mars, Gray and Amelia. Much loved sister to the late John Nairne, Bill Nairne and the late Dawn Curtis. Loved sister-in-law to the late Pat Nairne, June Nairne, Brian Curtis, Betty and the late Joseph Kenneally, the late David, and Anna Joyce. Loved by her extended family, the Joyce, Nairne and Baigent families. Val touched the hearts of all her family, friends and all who knew her and will be sorely missed. The family wish to extend a special thanks to the amazing staff at Wellington Hospital who provided Val with outstanding care in her final hours. Messages to the Joyce Family, 63 Marine Parade, Paraparaumu Beach 5032. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions Val's funeral details will be published when they are known.
