JOHANSEN, Vagn Ejner:
Born Denmark, 13 February 1940. Vagn died peacefully, with friends by his side, aged 80, on Thursday, 28 May 2020 at the Horowhenua Medical Centre, Levin. Husband, step-father, and great friend of many, he will be much missed. Private cremation has been held but a gathering to remember Vagn will take place at a yet to be announced time and venue. Vagn was a wonderful friend to our family and especially our mother. I remember him as a bit of a gentle giant with a wonderful laugh who was very considered and skilled at whatever he undertook. I regret we lost touch in the last few years of his life. Thank you Vagn for all the time you spent with us.

Vagn was a dear friend of my step father Rick Jensen who passed away 10 years ago. He was a lovely man who would give the shirt off his back for anyone. Sad to hear of his passing.
