Urszula POCZWA Obituary
On 5 January 2024 peacefully at St Joseph?s Lifecare, Upper Hutt; aged 97 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late Ginter (Jimmy). Much loved mother of Basia, Henryk, Zygmunt (dec), Olenka, and mother-in-law of Bernadette and Valerie. Loved Babcia of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and Ciocia of her many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to St Joseph?s (HOC) for their special care of Urszula. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Joseph?s Lifecare Chapel, next to St Patrick's College, 237 Fergusson Drive, Silverstream, on Friday, 12 January 2024, at 11.30am, followed by interment at Akatarawa Cemetery. Our deepest sympathy to you both. In the short time as your Mums neighbour we were full of admiration & determination particularly when she was attacking the weeds in her garden with a knife. Fred would suggest he could spray the weeds for her she would shake her head and smile. May you celebrate Urszula well lived life with lots of lovely memories & stories.
