I have only just heard the news of Trevor's passing. He inspired a great love of debating in me when he coached me at High School. Much love and condolences to all the family, Suzanne Peck nee Sherwood.

Trevor and Marilyn, your kindness and generosity will be in our hearts always.
We have such lovely memories of staying with you at Oak Ave when Kirk got his first job in Wellington. Trevor will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts are with you, Marilyn, Nicky, Pip and David.
Love Kirk, Natalie, Amy and Cole.

Over decades I saw Uncle Trevor's concern for the welfare of his wife and family, long since grown. It must have been so hard for him to leave and for family and friends knowing he had no choice. Uncle Trevor is an important part of my happy childhood memories and was easy and enjoyable to converse with as an adult, his excellent memory generously retaining detail of conversations past. I am one of many to whom he will not be forgotten. My heart goes out to those near and dear, missing him so much.

I remember Trevor from the 50's, when the family lived in Nikau Grove, where I still live. Trevor was older than us, I remember him going university in his suit every day, Ivor and I built forts in the old Riddiford Estate. R.I.P. Trevor
