Thomas Ashton (Tom):
Of Marton. Peacefully on Tuesday 2 November 2021. Aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband of Jackie. Loved father and father-in-law of Rachael, Sam and Philippa, Hayden and Jo, and Susannah and Gavin Thomson. Loved Grandfather of Lucy, Jack and Ashton; Rory and Elsa; Oliver, Jonty and Ruby. Messages may be sent to the Trotter family, c/- 18 Morris Street, Marton 4710. Friends are invited to attend a service for Tom at St Stephen's Anglican Church, Maunder Street, Marton, on Wednesday 17 November 2021 at 2.00pm, followed by private interment.

Tom was a good man and will be sadly missed in the racing fraternity we will miss having a beer and a skite talk with him on race day . Sam and Hayden will fly his flag proudly

So sad to hear of Tom's death. We are thinking of Jackie and all the family from here on the other side of the world. Janet remembers Tom and the impact he had on her life from the time she first met him when he married Jackie. She especially remembers the time she spent with Tom Jackie and the family in the 1970s.
