Dear Alick, Clo and Ned,
I was very saddened to hear of Tom. Your family has always been very welcoming and kind to me and I'll will always be extremely grateful for all you've done for me. And my thoughts are with you.

Dear Tom,
As I think of you and the time we shared I have nothing but happy memories, whether it was out skateboarding, playing guitar, listening to music, drawing or walking the streets at midnight.

I also remember being inspired by your artistic nature and I wouldn't be the person I am today without it. And when i think of those days past I know that my life wouldn't have been as good without you being a part of it.

And now I'll think of our kids babbling excitedly in your garage, lucky for the visit, being just before lockdown. You kindly answered all their WHY's as they asked you everything about your bike while wearing your oversized helmet.

Then one last time during lockdown, shouting across the road at each other. You told me about the chainlinks you were making... thankful for that last time.

You has gone, just like that, left a very big hole in our hearts. Especially to your mom and dad. It was hard to say goodbye when you still had so much life to live. There is no escaping the horrible pain of the loss of you.
I miss you and everything about you. My soulmate, you were larger than life. You have brought so much joy and happiness to many. You will be sorely missed and always be remembered. I love you.

Dear Clo, Alick and Ned,
I am so sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Tom, your beautiful son and brother. The waves of grief must be overwhelming as you struggle to come to terms with your loss. I wish i had a magic trick to ease your pain but it will only come with time.
My memories of Tom are a cheeky 6 year old boy who loved pain au chocolate for afternoon tea after school who turned into a talented artist.

We were extraordinary lucky to know you, and share so many adventures together. The least judgmental, most accepting, Sublime loving, jewelry making hoodie, motorbike and dog enthusiast.

I'll never forget you playing those ridiculous Slayer riffs on an acoustic guitar in the rumpus room, and I'm so glad we were able to spend some decent time together at Aaron & Rebecca's wedding and Jeremy and Gemma's baby shower.

Today, yesterday, and tomorrow, I'm thinking of Alick, Clo, Ned and all of Tom's many friends and family.

Tom, I have fond teenage memories of being at your house with Ned and playing games late into the night, it's a shame that we had to grow up and move on. I was lucky enough to bump into you in Vietnam again where we were able to have some great times and moments that I'll never forget. You are always there as a mate and while we hadn't talked in a while I always knew that when we saw each other again it would be just like old times, you were that sort of guy. I'm sad that we won't be able to see each other again in this life.

To Ned, Clo and Alick. My thoughts and condolences are with you, it's a terrible thing to see someone who is dearly loved pass so early in life so wishing you love.

It was too soon to say goodbye to Tom.
We were not prepared.
There was more to create, more music to make.
More love to give and be given by friends and family..not forgetting special dogs.

In loving memory and sincere condolences to Tom’s family Alick, Clo and Ned. I have such fond memories of growing up with you Tom. Going to school and being welcomed at your house. You were a kind and sincere guy who always had a smile on your face. One of the fondest memories I have of you was the 1998 soccer World Cup. Brazil vs France, it was a night to remember - we stayed overnight at your place and watched the final in the morning with all the lads. We last saw you at Aaron and Bec’s wedding and we are so glad to have that memory to hold onto. We said goodbye at the airport and hoped we would see each other again, one day soon. You will be sorely missed my friend, go easy, Vale Tom

I wanted to send my condolences to Tom’s family and friends. I will remember Tom as a friend who would go out of his way to make sure you were all good. He loved his music and I listened to a few of Tom’s recommendations when I heard the news. I hope they have a decent sound system on the other side. Again, my deepest sympathies to Tom’s family and friends.

Tom. You have certainly left a big hole in all our hearts. Our love for you is immeasurable. Trips back to NZ will never be the same again. Thank you for being Aaron's best mate for 26 years. You know him well, you know he will be ok. He's made an awesome playlist full of music you love.
