Thomas REESBY Obituary
Donald (Don):
Farmer of Oroua Downs and Kopane. With sadness and heartbreak we would like to announce the passing of Don, on 5 February 2021, in his 79th year. Peacefully at his home in Oroua Downs. Dearly loved husband of Meg (deceased 26.6.92), beloved special mate of Pat Crafar. Dearly loved father, father-in-law and proud grandfather of Kristen, Grant, Jane, and Mark Fraser (Wellington); Gareth, Sandra, Sarah, David, and Meaghan Reesby. Loved son of the late Joyce and David Reesby (Brookside, Canterbury). Loved brother of Mavis and Ivan Winchester (both deceased), Angus and Cynthia Reesby, and Ian Reesby, and Iris. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A funeral for Don will be held at William Cotton & Sons Funeral Chapel, 29 Beattie Street, Feilding, on Thursday 11 February 2021 at 11.00am, followed by private interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to Arohanui Hospice, PO Box 5349, Palmerston North 4441, would be appreciated and may be left in the Chapel Foyer.
Gareth and family would like to thank Arohanui Hospice and the Foxton Community Nurses for the respect and kindness to Don in the past weeks before passing. To Pat Crafar and family, thank you for your compassion and friendship, the love given over many years to each other your bond and respect for each other was beautiful. Thank you Pat for the care for Dad over the last 4 months, being beside Don to the end. You are a true angel.

I was a neighbor at Brookside and Angus was in my class at
school, condolences on Dons passing .Ross died in 2003 and I
retired to Winton,David our son farms at Blackmount.
