We were extremely sad to hear that Tom had passed away.
Tom was a member of the Otago Polytechnic Council between 2011 and 2018.
We were very fortunate to have someone of Tom's calibre on the Council, bringing his in depth academic experience in the ITP sector.
Sincere sympathy from management and staff, Otago Polytechnic.
Tom and John, the Sabine.

I always valued spending time with Tom. He always provided an insightful take on tertiary education at Massey and beyond with the well-being of students as his first consideration, was a creative thinker, and was a great mate on our various tramping expeditions. Thinking of you all.
