Thomas LEKO Obituary

My dad, Thomas Leko, in his own comical way decided yesterday it's time to go to Taita (cemetery) to see mum Thomaida Leko and my sister Helen Leko. Dad passed away peacefully on 10 August 2023. He was born 25 December 1930 near Korce Albania. He was married to mum Thomaida for 56 years. Thomas felt comfort the past week in commenting how he would also be seeing other relatives soon, including his own mum and dad, his two sisters and my favourite - his brother my Uncle Raymond. We will miss you dad. You are finally free now. Love always Nick, Sally and your most precious granddaughter Olivia (Evyenia). A funeral service for Thomas will be held in St Nekarios Orthodox Church, 23 Bay Street, Petone, on Wednesday 16 August at 11.00am, thereafter burial at the Taita Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St Nektarios, Petone, would be appreciated and may be left at the Church.
