Tom was very well known in Paraparaumu as a loving, kind father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
I remember his many kindnesses to Oscar and Flynn, who often visited him and enjoyed his hospitality and his swimming pool on frequent occasions as they grew up.
I hope that the many many happy memories that I know his family have of times shared together will be a comfort to them now and in the days to come.
Tom was also a valued Life Member of the Combined Probus Club of Kapiti
and I know many members will be saddened by his passing. He had a lovely grin and always a kind word for all members as he greeted them on their arrival at our meetings. He will be remembered for his contributions and fellowship by all of us.
I hope the knowledge that Tom was loving, and he was loved, will be held close all of his family members, always.

To Jane, Sally, Mary, Roger and Liz
I had the pleasure of meeting Tom on a few occasions during his retirement years. Gosh, he made the most of those. I loved exploring his garden. After the loss of your Mum, he still embraced life, with the support of his children and grandchildren. Always willing to try things, most men his age wouldn't dream of doing. That kept him going until the ripe old age of 93. RIP Tom.
All our love- Lois and Roger
