Hi Sean, I am sure you were there when she broke the news to me and knew we both cried together. My heart is broken for you and the boys. I only just found out as I'm still away hence the delay in messaging you. Teresia was not a client to me but a friend and I felt I got to know her so well recently as we always spoke about you and the boys in the last few years. I hope you are staying strong with the amazing memories you have with her. What she has passed onto Students and fellow teachers will always live on and what an amazing thing to treasure. Much love to you all. Take care xxxx

It is true. Our friend Teresia has died. Such a shock. I'm overwhelmed. Such a beautiful person. So true. So kind. The most generous and understanding person I ever worked with. Such a profound range and depth of understanding of the world and humanity that constantly amazed me. So young. The hundreds of people who knew her, who had the privilege of meeting her and benefiting from her wisdom will be in deep mourning as am I. Dear Teresia. Dear family be brave and proud that this wonderful person was mother, wife and daughter, friend to, and deeply respected by hundreds.

There are no words my friend just fountains of tears for the person of you whom we have loved and lost so tragically young!

Our ways are not God's ways - our part in the divine plan and life everlasting a vast mystery. But our faith gives us hope of this eternal life and it is that to which we cling.

So go well my friend - we will miss your voice, your laughter, your fire, your wisdom, warmth and care! Our hearts ache but we know we must let you go. Though we will see you no more you will forever be alive in our hearts and minds.

Thank you for all you have been and given. Our lives have been been made all the richer for your being.

And until we meet again dearest Tere may God hold you in the palm of his holy hand and bring you safely to Paradise.

Teresia, you have touched thousands of lives and have left your mark on this world. There is a massive gap that cannot possibly be filled with how much you did. Luckily, you will continue to live on in your art, your academia, your community, your activism, your sons. You deserve to rest well. x

Teresia, what an amazing impact you have made in such a short time. Your time with us at Pacific Cooperation Foundation was full of your richness in culture intellect and your personality. I have especially been the recipient of your blessed encouragement and support and know that just as the Lord Jesus directed your path He has also called you home to Himself.

E nga mana, e nga reo, e nga karangaranga maha o te wa
Hear the call
Rau rangatira ma tenei te mihi atu ki a kotou
Greetings to you all
Kua hinga tetahi o tatou
One of us has fallen
E te whaea ka nui te aroha atu kia koe
To you Teresia, our immense love
Kua oti atu to hikoitanga ki runga i te mata o te whenua
Your time here walking amongst us has ended
Haere atu kia ratou kua wheturangitia
Go join your loved ones, all those who have gone before you
Haere takahia te ara whanui kia Hine-nui-te po
And journey to Hine-nui-te po
Haere ki te huihui o te Kahurangi
Haere ki a Hawaikinui, ki Hawaikiroa. ki Hawaiki pamaomao
Journey to the land of your dreams, your Hawaikinui, Hawaikiroa, Hawaiki pamaomao
Haere ki te runga rawa, ko ia te timatanga te whakamutunga
Journey to the Lord, for he is the beginning and the end
And as you journey cast your eyes over us one more time.
Ma tona wa ka tutaki ano tatou kia tatou
We'll meet again
