With love and find memories of Teresa as teacher and friend. She used to share such depth of faith and wisdom and was alwsys very encouraging. She taught several of our children as they entered the "open plan" encountering some with vigorous reticence at having to stay at school!! Poor Teresa we used to say!!
I have spread the word and been in touch with old colleagues and friends.
Much love and condolences are sent to Bernie and the family from
Jenni Pilcher
Berna Harrison
Alina Pavlowska
Hanna and Michail Gilewski.
The latter being Polish Refugees the Parish helped settle in the 80s.
They are very much saddened to hear of Teresa's passing and wish to be remembered to the family and want you to know how grateful they were for the time and effort that she put into assisting them at a difficult time..

So, when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we are apart. For every time you think of me, I'm right there in your heart.

Dear Bernie and Family,
Our prayers and thoughts are with you as you farewell Teresa. Teresa instantly became an integral and much loved member of our family (quickly calling our parents Ma and Fah), names which endured for their lifetime) in her first year of High School at the Convent in Timaru, spending many a School Holidays with us and, to this day, I can recall the love and zest for life that was the essence of Teresa, nothing was too much trouble and her generosity of spirit knew no bounds. She was a breath of fresh air and her wonderful infectious laughter remains with us today. She was a beautiful woman, a woman of strong faith and hers was a life well-lived. To my sisters and myself she was a true sister and always will be and we feel very blessed to have had the privilege of knowing her.
Our only regret is that ill-health has prevented us from attending her funeral, but know that we will be there in spirit.
