Terence WAGHORN Obituary

ZL2AYY Terry climbed his last mountain, signed off from the Wellington Mountain Radio Service and died peacefully surrounded by family at Millvale Lodge, Lindale on Sunday 29 October 2023. Dearly loved husband of Adrienne (Ady) and devoted father much loved by Jon and Kate. Loved and respected stepfather of Tim and Justine Ward and her partner Danielle, loving grandfather of Kayla, Mirtha, Lucy and Sophie, loved step-grandfather of Pippi, Vita, Max, Rose and Bella, loved cousin of Jill and Mark Sinclair and loved brother-in-law of Buster and Trish Young. We are profoundly grateful for the five years of care and love shown by the staff at Millvale Lodge, Lindale. A private cremation has been held and a celebration of Terry's life will be advised at a later date. 'Dad was the nicest person I have ever known.' - Kate
