Terence Thomas (Terry):
Passed away peacefully, at Caughey Preston on 20 January 2016, in his 90th year. Much loved husband of Valerie, father of Susan, Jann, Catherine, Mark, Brigid, Michael and Megan and father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather of many. A service to celebrate Terry's life will be held on 23 January at 2pm at St Michael's Church, Beatrice Rd, Remuera, Auckland. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimers New Zealand Charitable Trust at www.alzheimersresearch.org.nz, or P.O Box 39 100, Christchurch 8545, would be welcome.

Hi Val, this is really a blast from the past but I saw Terry's death notice yesterday and felt really sad for you. I worked with you at the National Bank (I was Mr Collins' personal assistant) all those years ago and was working with you when you married Terry. In fact I remember you showing me the wedding photos. I remember Terry as a very gentle man, not that I met him very often, and have thought of you both every time I have driven past the vet clinic on Great South Road over the years.
All the very best to you Val. I remember you with great fondness and I hope and pray that God will wrap you in His arms and pour His comfort and His love deeply into your heart.
