Te Rangi died peacefully at home, surrounded by whānau and friends. Beloved husband of Suzanne, devoted father to Bella, Kahu and Toa, son of Tineke Verhoeven and Hokioterangi Ngataierua Tinirau, brother to Areta and the late Ira. We will celebrate Te Rangi's life, well-loved and beautifully lived, at the Worser Bay Boating Club in Wellington, on Saturday 6 August at 4.00pm. Te Rangi will travel to Putiki Marae in Whanganui, followed by burial at Aramoho Cemetary. Those wishing to join the whānau, please meet/arrive at Putiki on Monday, 8 August, between 12pm – 1.00pm. Thanks to the Mary Potter Hospice community care team for their loving support of Te Rangi and his whānau. Messages can be sent c/- 306 Willis Street, Aro Valley, Wellington 6011.
