So, so sad to hear this news. Tania was a wonderful person.

My condolences to Tania, her family, and all her friends and acquaintances

You were part of our whanau for many years and then for years after I´d hear a cheeky "there´s my sister!!" yelled across the room or street in Wellington. In more recent years we touched base for births, deaths and marriages. The most recent in January when you told me how much you loved Christine, how excited you were that she was marrying Jesse and what good people they are. Rest in Peace Tania. Thank you for always being kind, for the laughs, and for making Eden to wash her hands properly ;-) Our thoughts are with your family.

My sincere condolences and love to Patricia. Like a mother, you were there for her; you celebrated her joys and felt her pain deeply. You carry the candle of Bill´s love forward as they are finally reunited.

Tania´s dad Bill and I were so proud of all she achieved. Forty years of memories from when her dad and I married, including the just over three years that Tania and Jesse lived with us. How wonderful to see Tania glowing with pride at Jesse´s wedding to Christine in January.So sad for Troy that the life he and Tania had begun in Kerikeri has been cut short. 11th May, Bill´s birthday and the date of Tania´s passing, so poignant.

I am so sorry for your loss. Tania was one of the most special people I met through work. She was always ready to listen and give endless amounts of hugs. One special memory I have of Tania is when we were at Te Papa for a work conference. I was not in a good space just hearing my father was unwell. I went out of the conference; Tania followed me, and we sat in the military display crying and hugging for a good hour. I will never forget her empathy, her kind words and especially those huge hugs. Think of her often. Fly high my friend xxxx

Troy, Jesse, Diane, Rebecca and Khan, from the bottom of my heart I cannot express my sorrow for you all. Troy, although we have not met I can say without a doubt in my mind Tania lived the best years of her life with you, she was truly happy. Jesse, your mum loved you so much, I remember when you were very little and not well and she was so worried about you, but you grew up big and strong and her pride for you shone like the sun.

I will always treasure the memories of the time Tania and I spent living together in Paraparaumu many years ago. We had the best time, we laughed every day, and no matter how old I get, there will always be two things I will never ever forget about this sweet woman, I will always remember the cute way she squinted her eyes when she smiled and I will never forget the the sound of her laugh, as will many others I´m sure who have had the pleasure of hearing it. She also taught me vodka is better gin for a smaller hangover the next day!

My dearest friend, we may not have caught up with each other as often as we used to these past few years, but that doesn´t mean I´m not going to live out the rest of my days missing having you on this planet. You use to call me the Amazon woman, but I now believe that was you, until we meet again my Amazonian sister, all my love, miss you forever.

Troy and Jesse, I don´t know that we ever met, but your wife and Mum was truly treasured by so many people. I worked with Tania at DOC for many years and I have some very special memories, from the work we did together, through to the fun stuff. I might have been partially responsible for her tailbone injury at a workshop we held in Turangi around 20 years ago, or egging her on to play the spoons at a pub in Welly. We definitely had lots of work fun. Troy, she shined so bright when she shared the news of your engagement, way back when and Jesse, no mum could have loved their son more than we knew she loved you. I have no doubt she had many more special friends and family. She was taken too soon and we mourn her loss. D
