Sydney WATTERS Obituary

14 August 1926 - 13 August 2023 Syd passed away peacefully on his own terms and surrounded by family one day shy of his 97th birthday, at his home in Onekawa, Napier, which he built himself in 1957. Loved husband of the late Pam (nee Stevens) and beloved wonderful Dad to Grant, and Vicki. Amazing big brother to Ray and Christine, much loved father-in-law to Cushla. Loved uncle to many nieces and nephews, whose lives he always took an interest in. Special love and thanks from the Watters family to caregiver/companion Adrienne Provan. A long and large life lived with positive energy and integrity. A life celebration service for Syd will be held in the Dunstall Memorial Chapel, 19 Edwardes St, Napier, on Friday 18th August 2023 at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. A tribute to Syd or messages for his family can be left via www.dunstalls.co.nz or C/o PO Box 1055, Napier 4140.

the last of origonal menin road stalwarts, lot of memories from the 1950*s and 60*s, when i was growing up.watched you build a yaught in ypur shed, would go with you to the boat ramp in your vw combi van.thank you syd
