I went to work for Suzy just before she took time out to have her son. Suzy's cafe was an exciting place for a naive girl coming to live in the big city. Her training was second to none and taught me skills that have served me well in all subsequent jobs. Thank you Suzy for enriching my life.

You were a generous employer, always concerned that your staff had a good meal. After a busy day, you'd often slip us a bit of extra cash.
Safe journey Suzy. I know you'll pay the ferry man well. You don't know any other way.

A lovely lady full of class lost to Wellington. I have fond memories of visiting Susanna's coffee shop during the early 80's.
