Stewart DRYSDALE Obituary
Stewart died at home surrounded by love on Wednesday 8th December 2021. Dearly loved husband of Maureen, much loved father and father-in-law of Rachel and Jeremy, Emma, James and Tammy, and Matthew, loved Poppa of Charlotte, Josh, Alexandra, Ollie, Emily, William and Samuel, loved brother of Chris and Ewen. A private family cremation has been held. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, 21st December 2021 at 11.00am, at The Havelock North Function Centre, 30 Te Mata Road, Havelock North. Due to Covid 19 requirements, a vaccine certificate must be presented at this funeral. A live streaming of the service will be available at

We wanted to be with you at the service at Havelock North, but lots of family will be arriving then. We will definitely be watching the stream on screen at 11am and be remembering the great person Stewart was.

Sincere condolences to you Maureen and family. May you find strength in the memories of a loving husband, dad and poppa. Stewart was our (Jacqueline Suzanne and Margaret) dear cousin and we have many happy memories of us altogether on the farm.

Condolences to the Drysdale Family - Stewart was my Dr from1984 until he ceased his practice - a wonderful caring man who had time to sit and listen, give valuable advice, prescribe required treatments and medication. Always interested in my & Family wellbeing. May Stewart now rest in peace and may you the Family be comforted with the love & support that now surrounds you at this time. The Lord be with you all.

I would like to offer my sincerest sympathy to you all. I was shocked to read that Stewart had passed.
Stewart was my family´s doctor from 1972 until 2000 when we moved to Napier. Stewart delivered my two youngest children, Craig in 1973 and Angela in 1976. He was a wonderful doctor to us.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time.
