Steve was a sweet and hard working man, I would not have thought he was I'll as he worked so hard and was such a perfectionist. He really was an artist in how he painted. I loved his music and the way he was so sweet with my dogs. He will be missed

Dear Sal and Lauren and Hunter , his band of brothers David , Robert and Brian and extended Moss whanau, a tragic loss of someone so full of life and always squeezing the most out of it. I remember the cheeky smile and twinkle in his eye, his gentle charm and much paint splatter on clothes and body!
Generous and so much fun and an influencer with his music. When he met his soulmate Sal they just go on with life together.
Wishing you much aroha as you grieve his far too early exit. Much love Margie Beattie and John Barlow and family
Go well Mossy

So sad to hear of Steve’s passing. Strong memories of Steve from an early age at primary and secondary school, (along with a connection of the Herriot family with the all from the Moss family) - years of memories punctuated with sports, painting, and socialising. Subsequently spending time with Sally and Steve in those early years in Wellington with newborns Hunter and Lauren. Steve was larger than life to be sure!
From all the Herriot’s our condolences go out to you Sally, Hunter and Lauren and family, and to Robert, David and Brian - so sad to lose Steve so young
