Dear Donna, Very sorry not to have spoken to you yesterday. What a great family you have, you must be very proud. Stan was the nicest gentleman and professional police officer that you could come across. I loved working with him and quite enjoyed playing rugby at Johnsonville with him. I also recall his love and talent at music. Love and best wishes, Andy

Joined the Police together in 1961, sat together in class, shared a room together in the Trentham training School. Both posted to Wellington and boarded in the same room at Kenilworth Boarding House, then shared a room in the Central barracks. Worked in same section at Central and Wharf, shared a lot of our younger lives. Friends for over 60 years. Will never forget Stan, pianist, guitarist, friend, companian BLOODY GOOD BLOKE.
