Sir WEIR Obituary
In Loving Memory of Rod Weir. Loved husband of Loys (1952 – 1984) and Anna (1986 -). He will be dearly missed by his family: daughter, Lesley Donaldson, grandson, Jason Donaldson and his wife Giorgia Piacentino, and great-grandson Leonardo. Also by his cherished sister, Gillian. He was predeceased (in 2016) by his brother Graham with whom he shared many interests. He will also be missed by Enid Weir (aged 95), a loved friend to the end. His family and friends will miss him greatly.

Lesley, it was with great sorrow I learned of your Dads passing.Our families had wonderful memories over the years betweenQueen st Levin and Coroglen.Sir Roderick was a wonderful man astute at business.He had a special knack of reading people and always putting them at ease! Gillian - I was saddened to read of your brother's death. It is never easy to lose a sibling, especially when he is the only one, and you're living so far away on the other side of the world. It's been a long time since those school days in Wanganui; however, I'm sure Mother (Nancy) would have wanted me to add her condolences had she still been with us. Lesley and family. I was sorry to read of your dad's death. My family (the Ryders) the Parks, the Evertons would all have happy memories of those happy social times in Levin. I can remember clearly when he ventured out with his own business. What a success story that was. Your dad also sold my husband's family their farm at Peka Peka in 1960 (the new expressway goes right through it). We often saw your dad in Waikanae and we always had a good chat about old times.
