The late Major Seow Siak Yong was one of my school teachers at the Technical Institute,KL in 1967. We crossed path again when he was posted to HMAS Nirimba, Sydney, Australia as our Divisional Officer, where I was doing my naval apprenticeship training in the early 1970s. He used to take us for weekend outings. I still have fond memories of those moments. A fine Officer and a gentleman. My heartfelt condolences to Shelley and family. May His Soul Rest in Peace.

Mr Seow was my form 5 class teacher in technical institute in 1967. He was a dedicated teacher ensuring our butch of monkeys were properly educated and studied well. I still could remember his smile, his voice and his care for our class.
May the Lord grant him eternal peace and comfort Mrs Seow and the family.
