Dear Nigel and full family of Sheila. I am so sorry for your loss. Sheila gave Derek a new lease on life, as they say, when he lost his first Sheila, and I am sure she gave him great happiness and tremendous support.

Although I am writing from all the way around the world, and never had the luck to meet her in person, when speaking to her on the phone, I could feel the strength, warmth and calm that radiated from her quiet voice.

Thank you all for being there for her when she needed your company. I'm sure she will be greatly missed.
Best,
Jess Blackmore (daughter-in-law of late Derek Wheeler)
