Ngati Kahu (Iwi) Te Whanau Moana me Te Rorohuri (Nga Hapu). Passed away suddenly on the morning of July 5th, 2023. Born June 6th, 1939, in Cape Karikari to parents Matehaere (Rupapera) and Peri Hetaraka. Sister of Herepete, Hariata, Alan, Paora, Bruce and Kataraina. And sister of Lu, Hemi, Hamuera, Patana, Hurae, Moana, Hariata, Wai Papa, Toby, Peri, Barron, Moeke, Hoki and Mere (deceased). Beloved wife of Brian for 46 years. Mother of Yvonne, Susan, Andre, Kevin, Murray, and James. Mother-in-law of Te Rereka Haenga/'Tini' (deceased), Deb, Calvin, and Debbie. Grandmother of Kelly and Phil, Nikki, Matthew, Jacob and Nina, Allie, Lucy, Reikura, Danielle, Darcy and Kane, Harper, India, and Sylvie. Great grandmother Damien and Amanda, Jackson and Emily, Ravyn and Ryan, Cheyenne, Brooklyn, Kaea, Kauri, Kiwa, Matiu, Marley, and Koa. Great-great-grandmother of Chelsea, Malakai, Jett-Poara, Indi Matehaere, Nora, Coco, and Hayden. Aunty, cousin, and dear friend to many. Forever in our hearts, never forgotten. Kitty will be interred 2.00pm, Saturday 8th July, at Pyes Pa Memorial Park, 403 Pyes Pa Road, Pyes Pa, Tauranga.
