Ronald Henry (John):
Born in Gillingham, Kent, England, on May 4, 1929. Formerly of Tawa, Wellington; died in Napier, New Zealand, on July 30, 2022, surrounded by family. Loving husband of Gill. Much loved father and father -in-law of Carol and Mark, Warren and Christine, and Paul and Julie. Adored, funny and cheeky Grandad and 'G-Diddy' of Corey, Paige, Maddison, and Ryley; Brayton, and Pearl; Lisa, Jack, Madeline, and Adam. Cherished big brother to his UK family of Mary, Jill, Pat, David, and Lynn; and a loved Uncle to his nephews and nieces. Sincere thanks to his incredible caregivers at the Duchess Wing of Princess Alexandra Rest Home for their respect, kindness, and hard work under the current conditions. A celebration of Ron's life will be held at the Sugar Loaf Chapel of Howard & Gannon Funerals, cnr Lee Road and Gloucester Street, Taradale, Napier, on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 10.30am, followed by a private cremation.
