(Mark): Peacefully on the 27th December 2023 at Hawke's Bay Regional Hospital, aged 84. Son of Ron and Marjorie, brother of Phil and Nigel. Dearly loved husband of Sue for over 60 years, cherished father and father in law of Diana and Peter, Liz and John, Fiona and Roger (deceased), Jon and Anja, Rachel and Darren. Loved and respected Grandad to Rebecca Robinson); Hugh, Anna, Tom, Emma (Symons); Tim, Zoe (Scott); Jacob, Grace (Read), Suzanna Brandt; Arnold, Lennox, Henry, Brooke (Cuneen). Always grateful for faithful friends and family, he loved his community and was a man of service. JP
for more than 30 years. Sharp and witty till the very end. A celebration of Mark's life will be held at St. Columba's Presbyterian Church, Gloucester Street, Taradale on Wednesday 3rd January 2024 at 11am.

Read Family - Your Dad's Funeral Service this morning, is one of the most beautiful I have ever known. The whole commemoration was a wonderful tribute to Mark - the music and its words, the story of Mark and Sue's life, the contributions from The Family - shall give hope and strength to Sue and The Family in times to come.
