I worked with Ron since 2015 but in the month or two just before he left in February this year the two of us worked closely together. He was a nice man, social, very fit and had a keen mind, and so I was deeply saddened and shocked to hear today of his passing. My thoughts are with his family.

Warren and i met Ron in the early 70s when we were neighbours
our families were much the same age and we enjoyed many very happy social occasions over a number of years.

I went to primary school with Ronald in Hataitai. We were called the twins because our birthdays were on the same day, 7/11, and we both had similar blue jerseys. He was really nice and very brighjt.I'm sorry he has died.

Ron was one of our Friday Walking Group. He had only been with us a few months but had slotted in as one of regulars and a very popular participant. He expressed his enjoyment of finding new and different places within the Wellington Region. The walking group will all miss his company. Our condolences to his family and friends.
