RIDLEY-SMITH,
Roger Morton:
24th June 1931 -
21st October 2019.
Born in Rangiora. Passed away peacefully after a brief illness. Beloved husband of Judith for 60 years. Beloved father of Paul, Sarah, and Rebecca, and their partners Felicity, Tim, and Lee. Grandfather of Emma and Charlie, Grace, Olivia, Chloe, Imogen, Alexandria, Zachary, and Heath. Great-grandfather of Lillian and Francis. The family thanks the staff at MAPU and Ward 7S at WRH for their wonderful care of Roger. Messages may be sent to 'The Ridley-Smith Family' c/o PO Box 10987, The Terrace, Wellington. The funeral will be held at Saint Barnabas Anglican Church, Box Hill, Khandallah on Friday, 25th October at 11.30am.

To Roger's family, my deepest sympathy. Roger was a man who, although i didn't have a lot of communication with, I do know valued history and its worth. He helped bring a branch of my family history alive many years back. Himself in the photo here as a young boy https://marapito.blogspot.com/2008/11/our-history-may-be-somewhat-closer-than.html and he spoke so enthusiastically of his ancestors. Dear Roger you were the best GP I ever had Your decision to refer me to a specialist for my Rheumatoid was ahead of its time and has been very advantageous after 51 years I am holding my own regards Marlene Moran (Frost)

Judith and Family so shocked to hear of Rogers passing only a week ago we had such a lovely time and a cuppa together.Having been neighbours of ours for many years Roger our Doctor for us and our two children was the greatest Man to know David and the late Robyn Mears Jville
